GED Program
LAUP offers a GED exam preparation program in Spanish and partners with Zeeland/Holland Adult Education to offer an exam preparation program in English.

The General Education Development (GED) exam is for adults who have not received their high school diploma. The certification that you receive upon passing the Michigan GED examination is accepted as an equivalent credential to a high school diploma by employers and colleges across the United States.

Program Meeting Dates
All subjects: year round
Mondays-Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Mondays-Wednesdays 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Students enrolled in GED may also qualify for free Career Technology Education Classes:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant
  • Pre-Accounting
  • Business Communication
  • Other classes such as CNC and Applied Welding

Format of Instruction: Virtual instruction via Zoom
Location: N/A

Program Meeting Dates
Science: January 11, 2021 – April 27, 2021
Mondays, Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Language Arts: January 13, 2021 – April 28, 2021
Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
