LAUP offers a Workforce Development Program (WFD) to all adults (18+) who are Ottawa county residents. In this program, participants work to build an empowering career for themselves using proven strategies and training. 

Participants receive individual training tailored to their career at their own pace. Whether you are looking for a new career or to move up in your company, LAUP’s WFD specialists can help you grow.

The LAUP Workforce Development Program uses the outside in and inside up model. The goal of the program and this model is to bring community members from OUTSIDE a company IN to the company through hiring. At the same time, the program seeks to elevate those already INSIDE the company UP in position through promotions.
