About The Program

LAUP offers a GED exam preparation program in Spanish and partners with Zeeland/Holland Adult Education to offer an exam preparation program in English.

 

The General Education Development (GED) exam is for adults who have not received their high school diploma. The certification that you receive upon passing the Michigan GED examination is accepted as an equivalent credential to a high school diploma by employers and colleges across the United States.

GED Program in English and Spanish

Format of Instruction: In-person

Program Meeting Dates
Science: Mondays and Tuesdays
Mondays & Tuesdays 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Language Arts: Wednesdays
Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Students enrolled in GED may also qualify for free Career Technology Education Classes:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant
  • Pre-Accounting
  • Business Communication
  • Other classes such as CNC and Applied Welding
